New Feul Pump: Won't Start Sometimes!!!!
Took my car into dealer because my feul pump made noise occasionally. They replaced it. This is on a 2004 so it includes the feul filter I believe.
Twice since the replacement I have had trouble starting the car. It cranks/fires but immediately stalls. On the third try it stays running. It did it this morning after being warmed up and fuel fillup.
This car always firers right up with a little click of the ignition key. Even after the H/C install....it just fired up. Never once has it stalled out before the feul pump replacement.
Question: What should the dealer do to check out this problem since it is intemittant. Is it possible that they installed a new bad unit? Is there something they could have screwed up in the install??
Any advise before I bring it back would be appreciated
