Attaching Blackwing to 97 C5?

Attaching Blackwing to 97 C5?
I'm trying to attach a blackwing to my 97. The instructions say to "reuse" the seal from the original air cleaner. The "seal" from my air cleaner is round on one end that goes into the MAF, but oval on the other end where it goes into the original air cleaner. I don't see how this can be reused to attach to the round Blackwing. Any ideas? Do I need some type of coupler between the blackwing and MAF? Thanks in advance for any help.

Blackwing coupler
Thanks for the pic. That helps. Where did you get the coupler between the blackwing and MAF? The one that came with it is for 2001+ and is too big for my MAF.
