Default Turn signal flasher

Where is the flasher can unit in the C5? I thought I read somewhere back of the radio, but there is nothing accessiible when I pull the radio out. How do I get to it? (doing Euro light conversion)

Oh - I have tried a search but come up with nothing useful

It is part of the hazard warning switch assy. I just had mine replaced (luckily it was still under warrany). On my bill it stated that the dash and console had to be removed to gain access.

I remember that within the last 6 months or so someone had a great writeup with pictures about how to replace the hazard flasher by going throught the radio opening. It has to be here someplace. Or does it?

Found it.

Looks like it might be a special Eurovette part, it don't look like a normal flasher can, that's for sure .. May be easier and cheaper to rig up a ballast resistor.

Problem is I only have one lamp (per side) flashing at the rear, not two.

Unless anybody has a better idea..
