Default MOD Help on Upgrades

First of all, HI to everyone!

I am a Soldier stationed in Ft Hood, Tx. and I have an 02 6-spd with full exhaust (Headers, Hiflow Cats, X Pipes and Cat back)

I want to complete my intake setup before I go to the eng. So far I have the Varram intake and a hiflow tunnel.

My question lies in the MAF and larger TB.

Since my vette it is an 02 does the SLP MAF works? it states in its add that is for 97-00 or so! Is any one running the Granatelli suited for CAI (The tweaked one) this is my second choice!

Does the 80MM from BBK offer any major gains versus a ported GM LS1 TB in the forum store? the Poerted is over $100 cheaper but is it worth getting the BBK over the ported one?

Someone correct me if I am wrong but is the intake manifold on a 02-04 the same as the LS6?

Has any one done the SLP 1.85 Rockers? are they worth it?

3.90 or 4.10 gears?

SLP flywheel crap or cool?

Is there a cam that I can use with stock valvetrain that would be worth upgrading to instead of the rockers?

What else should I be considering in my MOD list?
What did I miss or need to mention?

MY intentent is not a race car, It will be my weekend warrior but it will be a cold day in hell if I get punked out by those ricers!!!

I am hoping to be at around 400HP with these MODS, What do you guys think?

Thank you all in advance, and GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!

Unfortunately, 400 hp won't keep you from getting beat up by some rice. It sounds like you want to stay away from FI? If so, I think you need to go with a good head / cam set-up.

You can't go wrong with an Aluminum flywheel. Might limit clutch selection. I know Centerforce & Aluminum didn't mix a dozen years ago.

The 4.10 will probably be a bit too much for the street. Traction is hard to come by.

I've been into turbo and supercharged mods for 12 years on 4, 6, & 8 cyl motors.

There are a lot of people here that know all about NA build ups.

Good luck.

Stick with the stock TB or a ported stocker forget about the BBK TB. I would also stick with the stock MAF.

Since your car is an 02 you already have the LS6 intake.

If you're going to go with a good H/C setup you should not need 1.85 rockers. Especially if the cam you select is above .580 lift.

If you're going to be using DRs go with 4.10 gears.

any cams & heads I should consider that the lope is not notisable, sort of want to keep it a sleeper!

any real advantages in going FI?

If so, then which Turbo or S/C do you guys recommend.

Thanks guys, I really apreciate your comments.
Not only will it save me time but also money as well!
