PopUp Headlight Noise....
Turned off the headlights tonight and a god awfull came from the left headlight after it closed. Lasted about 30 seconds and then stopped. Now it does this every time I turn off the headlights and the headlight door closes. Its sounds like a grinding noise. I also notice the headlights come on/doors open with single denten of the light stalk. Before the first detent ony turned on the fog lights, second detent did the headlights. Now first detent turns on both. This seems to have started tonight with the noise problem. This is a 2001 Coupe by the way.

If your any good with tools at all you can change it, the gear can be bought from ebay for $12.00
Look under Firebird headlight gear in the search, its the same part in the Vett just cheaper beacase its for a Firebird.
