Kudos to MTIRacing.com
Owner Reese *** and crew @ MTI Racing of Marietta, GA (www.mtiracing.com) helped me out of an unfortunate engine death this past summer with a transplant of a LS6-based, 383 stroker.
No problems since I took delivery in July and it moves like a scalded beast!
Engine was dyno tuned w/ minimal break-in miles (just over 600) on 22 Jul 05 via Dynojet Dynamometer - 456.2 rwHP and 444.3 rwTQ @ 100 degF and 25% humidity. See the graph @ http://members.***.net/cmstim/trips/...o/IMG_3638.JPG
Gotta love it on the track and it still gets decent daily driver MPG (well, at least with my daily driving style it does. )

I can only see much confusion being generated, as MTI http://www.motorsporttech.com/ is one of the top tuners in the country, and is commonly known as MTI, they are sponsors on several LS1 sites and are located in Houston Texas

Can't speak to the histories for the name of either shop. Both seem to do great work for their customers. I'm sure Reese *** of MTI Racing can enlighten you on his shop if you e-mail him. He's been more than helpful with performance ideas.
