Default ls2 manifolds on c5s?

I currently have a 2000 with the ls1 manifold and I have been looking to change out my manifold and was curious if a ls2 manifold and tb could be used and if it would be worthwile to do so or just stick with an ls6 with ported tb. got any suggestions?

i read an article that said that the ls2 made more power with ls6 intake and exhaust manifolds than the ls2 components not sure if the ls1 would be the same but apparently the ls6 makes more power on the ls2 than the oe ls2 components so i would think the ls6 would flow better based off of those statements
i think the article was in popular hot rodding

Some months ago there was a thread with the results of testing the LS2 vs the LS6 intake and the Ls6 was the winner in under-the-curve hp/tq.

From all the Data I have gathered, the LS2 is basically a LS1 with a 90mm T.B.. The LS6 will out perfrom the LS2. For stock bore throttle body, I would suggest use a LS6. If you want to run a 90mm TB, I would suggest a FAST 90 with a LS2 T.B..
Just my 2 cents worth.

Im not sure the peformance difference but got the ls6 from my dealer who matched gm parts direct price at 389. Fast intakes were quite a bit more. Hope it makes a difference on my 2000.
