Crazy Keys!

Used spare key, wouldn't start. Found wife's key and fob, did a lock and unlock, then car started. Finally found my key and all OK. Whenever I used the spare again, it wouldn't start. Waited about 10-min after no start with spare and it started with my and wife's keys. My guess is that there is something wrong with the spare and it locks out any other start attempts for a period of time. Sound right to you guys?

Sounds like the resistor is wrong or faulty. Did the spare ever work?

You let your wife have a key to the vette!!!

it'll start without the resistor, but cuts off if you move over 1mph....sounds strange though.

I don't remember if the spare ever worked. I'm going to do the dreaded "take it to the dealer" and pray.
