About the rubber "treatment" to use for your seals around the doors and the glass top.
I remember a post about a "silicone" to keep it black and protect it..
Thanks in advance.
Any good silicone lube used on a regular basis will keep the seals in good shape. A couple of treatments stopped the wind noise on my roof. The stuff will actually cause the rubber to expand slightly, now my only complaint is that you either have to leave a window cracked and slam the door hard, otherwise you get the dreaded door ajar warning, and on occasion your ears will "pop".
Just be careful not to use to much of it, if you do it will get on the strips where the window goes into the door and spread it on you window and if youwant to see a mess to clean off..... don't ask me how I know this.
