I bought a set of LG longtubes that are used. Now here is the dilemma what gaskets to get from the dealer? what year part #? Also i have a 2000 these are for a 2001+ what do i need to make these fit exactly can anyone give me some part numbers or pix or both if possible. Sorry for the questions just want to make sure i get all at once so i can get my car rollin. Thanks again....
If you want to make life easy on yourself, buy a 01+ dipstick and tube. Otherwise you will have to fab something up to mount the dipstick tube. You can also get LS1 f-body exhaust manifold gasket because the ports are round and should match the header ports better.
The gaskets I used on my 01 were GM part # 12558573
They are the metal round port gaskets...although commonly referred to as the F-body gasketc, I don't what gasket was used on what cars or if and how they differed, these may have been OE on the C5's too for all I know....I just gave the guy at the dealer that part #.
The main adaptation you will need to do to fit the headers on your car is modifying the air connection tubes, and dipstick relocation. The gasket # above will work fine for you though.

I just ordered gaskets for a 99 coupe and that was the part number they gave me. I think all 99 and before C5's use these.
