Default Speedometer Cluster

has anyone ever removed the instructment cluster on a 2004 vetter? i want to customize my speedometer face. if you have contact me and let me know what you had to do.

Yes, it's not too hard for a novice mechanic, there is a post around here with instructions, I'll see if I can find it later on. You'll need a 7 mm, 10, and 14 mm sockets, ratchet, screwdrivers, pliers, and torx bit(cant remember the size off the top of my head). The shift ****, center console, lower dash padding will need to be removed.Just be careful not to lay the cluster face down for a lenghty period, it'll affect the backlighting(black lights).
