I'm having problems with my 00 Vert.
The wipers go on and off whenever they want.
I brought it to the dealership and they changed the arm. This did not fix the problem.
The dealership wants to replace the motor.
Can anyone tell me what is wrong?
Is it possible that the wiper motor got wet?
I did notice water a while back on the drivers side.
Can it be the wiper module that bolts on top of the wiper motor?
I have a 99 coupe w/ 67K miles. I am on my 4th wiper motor/controller. The first two replacements were under warranty. The third was partially paid (labor) by the dealer. Just yesterday the motor/controller failed again. Same symptoms: starts and stops randomly regardless of switch position. Sounds like inferior design / manufacturing of the component. I am about to start a new round of complaints with the dealer / GM.
I am surprised I haven't seen more posts regarding this problem.
