After reading a few threads I think my Oil senor has gone, reading 80psi on clock and 128 digital?
Is there a different way to keep an eye on this for the time being such as oil temp, can you equate this in anyway.
Surely there isnt much to worry about untill and warning signal comes up on the dash broad
Also can someone supply a photo or diagram of where the oil senor is located so I can check if it has been unplugged or not
If this was unplugged by the last owner would it bring up an electical or engine warning light to let me know??
Like Jstyle says do a search and by the way the thing is under the intake manifold in the valley of the engine toward the back. Mine went out, I have the same symptoms. It seems fairly common. Looking to replace mine as soon as I can. The price of part seems to be in the neighborhood of $35 and labor is about 2 hours.
