Keyless Entry Question
Is it possible (and if so is it feasible) to change a 99 keyless receiver with a 01 up style? The question is due to the fact the 01 and up key fobs are so much cheaper and also they do not have the passive switch which I do not care for.

I agree with 5 Liter Eater.
The frequencies for the Receivers/Transmitters are different from 99 to 01.
Also the Tire Pressure Sensors may not work properly since they operate on the same frequency.

I'm not so sure about this. If so everyone would use the cheaper ones. I'd get a second opinion before you go out and but one.
