Hi Flow Cats worth the Effort?
Would it be worth the time and expense to change out the stock cats for hi-flow cats. Any opinions on Dynatech Powercats, MagnaFlow or Random Technology.
My exhaust is a custom welded system not a bolt up so I would be cutting out the stock cats and welding or maybe clamping in the hi-flow units.
I have thought about just buying the Kook's x-pipe with the cats but I already have an investment in my existing x-pipe set up. I bought the kook's connecting pipes for the stock cats and a BP x-pipe and welded everything up for a real clean installation.
Don't want to throw it all away.
Thanks for the input - looking forward to the comments.
i plan to do a similar thing on my setup .. i wont pay the typical c5 brands though ..
found one for $30 a cat .. it's a universal 3" in/out that will mount up to the collectors and then a 3" X-Pipe .. they have them in different sizes, i can justify $150 for a high flowing cat
