Default Raw Fuel Smell

Hello
I own a 1998 C5 and I have been smelling raw fuel on and off it doesn't matter if the top is on or off windows up or down I smell the fumes at idle or full throttle I have checked the car out with a fine tooth comb no leaks anywere has anyone had this problem

Maybe you overfilled it.Gas can creep down into the d/s rear wheel well.

I had the same problem on adding gas. It turned out to be a crimped end on the fuel hose which connects the two gas tanks. The C5 transfers feul from one tank to the other. You should have this checked out as this could be a problem with it dripping on hot exhaust pipes

Same thing happend to me.It was the fuel filter above the drivers side exhaust where it bolts together.You will have to go underneath the car.No leaks on the ground,just on the hot exhaust.Took awhile to find it.
