I hope the title got someone to look. The passenger side headlight is way off. It aims
down and to the left so much that at about 15-20 feet away it crosses over the drivers
side light. I checked to see if the bulb was not in correctly, but it was. Is there a way
to adjust this? Is it possible that the bulb itself is defective? Any ideas?
There are adjuster screws behind the headlight shroud. Remove the cap and you will need a female torx socket. The other is far in the back twards the fender. One is for L/R and the other is U/D.
Yes, this did happen after a bulb change, but it seems to be in correctly. Maybe I should remove it and then reinstall it. If that doesn't work, then get a new bulb.
I had the same problem...and as was hinted above, the sockets were not in correctly. I really had to apply some muscle to get the low beam socket to seat and lock correctly (I installed aftermarket bulbs.)
