Can anyone please explain how to remove the clips that hold in the hood liner. I know there is some kind of trick with the pin in the center. I don't want to break them. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Easiest way is with a door trim removal tool. You just insert the tool between the hoodliner and hood and pry it out. The door trim removal tool has a notch in the center to go around the pin part of the clip. It is easy to do with the tool. You can pick up the tool for under $8 at any auto parts store. Or, you can use a screwdriver to do the same thing, but you increase the chance of breaking the clips (which are also available at your parts store). Good luck!
