I have found that not all Sam's Clubs carry the same products, but have them look for the following: NASCAR XLT XDT34 and NASCAR XLT XDT35. I believe these are the numbers for which they should be looking, but I'm not totally certain. They should also be able to look up the specs for you. Also, these batteries are pretty distinctive looking in that they are made with the 3 pairs (for a total of 6) of cylindrical cells that look just like the Exide Select Orbital Series batteries and similar to the Optimas. Too, you can go to http://www.samsclub.com/ and do a search on XDT34 and XDT35 and this should bring these batteries up for you to see.
Also just as added information, according to their respective web site, the Optima Red Top and Yellow Top and the Exide Select Orbital® and Exide Select Orbital® XCD batteries are all Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) batteries, not gel cell. There is a difference:
UPDATE: Just returned from Sam's a short while ago and NASCAR XLT XDT34 and NASCAR XLT XDT35 are the correct numbers for the Exide Select Orbital Series batteries sold by Sam's under their NASCAR® Branded Product Line. The label on top of these batteries has a small "Orbital" logo on it and there is a red label on the side of the battery that says "non-spillable".

Reason: added update.
I just bought my optima red top and the car feels much smoother than when I had the Delco in. Very pleased with the results but alot of green for a battery.

Always used Red Tops in my C4's and now put one in my 02 Z06. Someone posted their Red Top exploded? How can that be possible with a dry cell battery????

Contrary to what you may have read on this Forum, Optima Red Top and Yellow Top and also the Exide Select Orbital® and Exide Select Orbital® XCD batteries are NOT dry cell batteries. Also, they are NOT Gel cell batteries. According to their respective web sites they are all Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) batteries. AGM batteries use a liquid acid electrolyte and like other lead acid batteries, they can at times emit explosive gas. The difference is that in the AGM batteries the acid electrolyte is absorbed in the glass mat which makes them less likely to leak.

Neither. In model year 2004, GM went to a standard AC-Delco top-post sealed lead (liquid) acid battery and, as far as I know, this was the battery installed in all 2004 C5s. GM installed the AC-Delco AGM batteries beginning in model year 2001 through model year 2003. My understanding of GM's reason for going to the top-post sealed lead acid battery in 2004 was due to the number of premature failures people were experiencing with the AC-Delco AGM batteries.
Thus far, I haven't read or heard of anyone having great problems of any kind with the top post sealed lead acid battery GM used in 2004. The battery with which many people were experiencing leakage problems was the AC-Delco side-post sealed lead acid batteries that were installed in the C5 prior to model year 2001.
