If anyone anywhere else is having problems finding them let me know.. I will be more that happy to go get some more and ship them to whoever.. They cost me 10 bucks with washers and nuts. YOU pay for the parts plus shipping and they are on the way. I am no looking to make a profit off this just wanting to help out.. Pics of the slammed FRC will be posted soon.. Thanks
Congrats on the find! i found from a local Fastenal Store, I knew the guy so he gave me a huge discount. I paid a total of $2.50, sorry didnt mean to rub it in We need pics heres mine, hope you likley!!
no rubbing only in a high speed turn or a really big pot hole
Be carefull; 7" long bolts will let you lower the rear a lot. When I lowered my 2k Z51 two inches, the suspension bottomed out in the Bilstein Sport shocks when I hit a certain dip in the road at 70 mph, and I mean it really gave me a kick in the butt enough to lift me off the seat. So, I did the A&A mod on the rear upper shock mounts to get more shock downward travel, and I got a slight bit of tire rubbing at the top of the inner fenders. I finally raised the rear back up by 1/2 an inch, and things are now fine.
Unless you totally remove your front bolts, your rear will be lower than the front if you use all 7" of the rear bolts. Correct rake angel is 1/2" to 3/4" higher in the rear than the front when measuring at the top-center of the wheel well to the ground.
Yea just having some fun in the Mountains, Im alot more careful now cause of my new Son, Lowden. Yea I raised mine up a little too, my wife started complaining about the bumpyness, so I raised it up a hair and it does a lot better.
