Scratched windows.....
.Or is there an internal failure of the window mechanism that makes these scratches...These scratches can be felt by a fingernail..so I guess polishing is out of the question
.Anyone has an answer??Greetz Erik.

I cleaned them once with air(high pressure) but it seems to be getting worse.Maybe it's my imagination...
..And it's time to replace the window felt AND window in time
And these polishing sets...will they remove some of the scratches.
Car is also garage kept so no troubles with rain and sandstorms.
It's not a pretty sight...such a beautifull car and all these scratches.
I've never seen this on a european car though....
Will check out a polishing set first.
Greetz Erik.

[/QUOTE]I guess you've never driven the older Volvos and Porsches then.
Not only would the windscreen get prematurely scratched, but so would the side glasses!
I'm referring to the 914's and 356 speedsters.
Then to make matters more interesting, Zuffenhausen finally figured out that the undercoat/sealer they used to rustproof the unibody frame, actually turned into a sponge over a few years and held water against the car's frame. That's why rust free older Porsches are very hard to find.
Moral of todays story:
Every auto Mfr. in every country has made some boneheaded errors in plan/design and build
