OK I know this question has been asked and asked many times but I am done with the runflats . Can anyone suggest some new descent tires that aren't 5 bills each? thanks
I have the Goodyear GS-D3's, they are a definate improvement over the runflats, but I can't comment about them vs. other tires.
They are a little more quiet, and I think grip somewhat better. Definately ride better though.
There was a forum member that was selling brand new rears for $400, I bought a set from him. Try searching the for-sale section and see if he's still around.
Perelli Nero Zero was rated #1 over-all by three different car magazine tests etc. (don't ask me which one's it was this past summer time) never the less I bought them and couldn't be happier. Quiet, good looking tread, handle great (wet or dry), and affordable....love'm.

I just put these tires on a few weeks ago and love them. They are so quiet and so smooth it's like a different car now. I also bought a new set of rears from a forum member, I think it was 425 shipped. If I remember it was 98vert6spd, I got them and they sat in my garage for several months while I was waiting for the runcraps to wear out. I read many many reviews on Tire Rack before deciding on these. I bought the fronts from a local dealer here. I think the final cost after mounting and balance was around 900.

I have these Pirellis, and I love them. Definitely a good choice, IMO.

Are these the Pirelli P Zero Nero M&S? Did you go with the stock 245-45-17 and 275-40-18's?
I had a set of the Kumho ASX tires shipped to my house for $525. What a difference over runflats. These tires are hard to beat price wise. Perfect for DD but would pick another if I took it to the track.
