7 Second LS1 !!!
This last weekend I went to the World Street Nationals in Orlando and saw two LS1 powered cars in the event. One was a tube chassis GTO that ran in the Pro Street class and the other car was a convertible Trans Am that ran in Heavy Street. Both cars were LS1 cars with Prochargers on them. I watched the GTO run a Mid 7 second run on Saturday. I also saw the Trans AM run a low 8 on Friday night.
I talked to the guys they are running C5R blocks and heads and small cubic inch motors. They were out of Michigan.
