Default Cruise doesn't work..

I am getting a code P1571 and p0719 one of them is the brake/tcc switch..I tested the switch today and the switch is good. The fuse is good. how do you adjust it? I use to pull the pedal up from the floor and the cruise would engage, now it no longer works..There are two switches on the brake pedal. which one is the brake/tcc switch? One of the switches has two pins that don't have anything that plugs into it..Is it the switch with the empty pins? What is supposed to go in there? Is this a testing location..How can i test the swtich to see if it needs replacement...

There is an adjustable contact switch that makes contact with the clutch pedal when the pedal is closest to drivers seat (as opposed to closest to floor)...

If this switch isnt adjusted properly, cruise wont work either...

You need to jump the pink and greay wires that used to be on the top clutch switch together. That will allows the cruise to work. Then using a pcm editor turn on code 801 that will get thrown

I did jump the pink and grey wire..That was the only way i could bypass the old clutch switch and get the car to start..What do you mean by get a pcm editor to turn on 801? what is that all about? what does this do?

I believe there is a white plastic switch at the brake pedal. this can be adjusted or replaced. Take a look. That is my best guess for your issue.
