I believe Shaner, Lingenfelter and Katech are all pretty good, is my understanding. I think the Shaner is probably the best looking as he also uses a filler material. The Lingenfelter, from pictures, at least, does not appear to have as much material removed as the other two. It also is quite a bit cheaper.
Personally, I'm going with the Shaner. The man has answered all my questions immediately, and in detail...very impressive. He's a class act and will be getting my business. I'll be sending mine to him for porting sometime in the next three weeks.

My ported TB from Shaner compared to my stock, was like night and day.

I have a Shaner ported tb for sale if anyone is interested in it.
Performance gains are not much of anythinng that can be measured. But, it does increase throttle response quite a bit and that will be the most notable difference.
