Just curious about this. Even if it fits mechanically, I am wondering what else would be required, such as a a new PCM perhaps, to get this to work in a C5.
I really like the idea of a 6 speed auto, but don't like the idea of having to purchase a C6 to get one. Even though the C6 is finally starting to grow on me, it still takes a deep second place to the C5(just my personal opinion, of course).
I'm Interested In This Same Issue. Elsewhere In The Forumwas Posted Pictures Of The 2006 C6 Diff Which Is Dimensionally Different So That Would Require A Dual Swap Or An Adapter To Match The A6 With The Rear End. Also The A 6 Is Longer And Will Require A Shorter Driveshaft And Torque Tube. Then All That Is Left Is The Electronics. Sounds Like A Big Job But Someone Will Probablydo A Package. At Least I Hope They Will.
