Use the link posted above.
I had to take my dash apart to get the pass side airbag cover properly aligned.
Once the dash pad is out, the rest of the dash is easily accessible

I don't think the entire dash has to come out just the support bar at the bottom of the dash, the one that goes across to the passenger side.

Do not remove ur dash.. There is a 15 nut that is accessible once you pull back the insulation above the pedal assembly..The insulation has a slit cut in it to make it easier. Place a long socket in there with a medium extention and use a 13mm wrench to turn the bolt head that is visible..It is not hard. Just look up thre and you will see what i am talking about..The black plastic piece with a slit is above the pedals..

Andy at A&A ( a well respected vette shop) said that he will never do a tranny conversion swap again.

As you can see, I'm not in a hurry to do this swap. I am going to attempt to do it a weekend at a time, a step at a time. What dash board wiring harness differences are there between the A4 and MN6?
What swap tips can you offer? Thanks

Tony ,get urself the wiring schematics for the car. This will make things easier..You will need to address the Anti theft circuit, Starter enable circuit and Add the clutch switch..This is not hard at all. If you get the schematic for the A4 and M6 you will see where the wire start and end..You will need to add a few pins into the PCM if you don't change the harness and that is not a big deal....If you chose to change the wiring harness you will ned to change it with a car with the same features..Ride control, suspension etc..You can pic up wiring harnesses for cheap..97-98 only work together and 99-2004 for the rest..Get the service maunual and you will not have any problems..I did the conversion the other way and can't see it being very hard the other..The guy i bought my stuff from was up and running in one day..
