Default how do you drain the coolant?

where is the plug located? what are some tips? refill how much c vs water?

The plug is located at the bottom of the passenger side of the radiator. Drain hole is below it in same location. Standard mix is between 50-50 and 60-40 of water to coolant. Be VERY careful if you try to open the overflow tank or radiator while its hot. High potential for steam related burns. Just keep filling, getting it hot, then draining and refilling until it looks clear. Then add the antifreeze and water. Make sure you use a variety of Dex-Cool so you don't gum up any of the coolant components.
I tried to knock this out this weekend, only to find the previous owner broke the tab off of the plug by overtightening it.

do i fill up by the coolant reserve tank or is there a cap on the rad?

I am getting ready to change mine also on my 99 coupe. It looks to me that there is no radiator cap so I am going to use the tank for filling. Jim

Radiator first then the tank. Make sure you only fill to the cold line on the tank.
