are there any off the shelf products like this that you can get at your local autopart store?
i read a while back on another forum that Mopar has a similar stuff.. but ive also read in a classic car forum that people will do the same but with water... some say it acts like a steam cleaner...
have an lt-1 with some miles on it i would love to clear out..

but i just went to the dealership and bought this stuff... 2 cans like the writeup said and i did this on my LT-1 94' Trans-am (the runner/DD) and its at 140k and it has had a slight stumble since about 90-100k... the stumble is almost not noticeable in the car, but with the hood up you could see it bobbleing a little bit... and there has been a slight hesitation on takeoff's..... nothing bad, but enough to annoy me...
i did this procedure without the "FOG" stage they did... and yes LOTS of smoke... enough to make me wonder how my Cat is doing now
(hey the car has 140k on it, its dirty)...so i do it all and take her for a spin.... now i dont know if maybe the tires were just cold or the road is colder or whatever, but i could break the tires loose easier....it really had more SNAP to it... and that stumble that made the hood slightly vibrate... GONE... the light studder... gone...
from my observations (im a pretty good mechanic, no job i cant/wont do and have cars that can take me into the 11's built by myself) i think it was a GOOD investment... im very observant with my cars, and i noticed a difference.... highly recommend doing if your miles are getting up there...
just my .02c
