Pulling a P1416 Code and looking for some help!
I found the following website and I know its pretty reputable seeing as there information is copied directly from the Service manuals.

Anyway, after reading this, I dont think its the pump because it sounds like there is only one pump that splits and goes to each exhaust manifold, and my other bank is OK, so I figure there is a blockage or the hose is broken or rusted out on bank 2. My question is, where EXACTLY does the AIR hose connect to the manifold and where Exactly is the AIR pump? Maybe pics would help!!! Is this easy to fix or look into? I have an Autotap so I will be checking to make sure my O2 are ok, no codes set for them and also my airfuel ratio. I just want to make sure my cats arent going to be running super hot.
Thanks In Advance Guys!!!!

(i did the following before while i was waiting on the valve)
1415 and 16 are the air check valve fail codes, #2(1416) is located rear of the intake man. near the firewall(intake removal necc.)and 1415 is the visible dr. side ck valve; when one/both fail the pcm will cycle the air pump every 5 min or so and eventually wear out the pump, new ck valve should be about $20 shipped form beans or any good chevy dealer; when the pump is elec. unplugged code 0410 will show; i started w/ 1416 and swapped it w/ the #1 bank ck valve and then the 1415 showed up(i was interested in seeing if the pcm would detect the swap )
part #22048212 same pn for L and R systems
also avail from autozone, advance, napa but doesn't look good
if you're close to CT i can help you out w/ the fix for these codes
if you need to remove the intake manifold, ck this out www.ls1howto.com , any other ?'s send me a pm or post

here's the small vacuum line behind the intake, there is an elbow that attaches this to the intake
ck all the AIR tubing first, 90% of the time it's the ck valve
(in this pic i have the AIR tubing and valve removed)
