Wow --this sounds more like a 1:41 a.m. post than a 11:41 a.m.

Hey Joe. I would take it to someone that does LS1 edit or a tune like that. I think you'll be surprised at how much power is lurking in that motor with your upgrades. You can also have the rev limiter increased with LS1 edit. Anywhere between 6500 and 6700 is generally fine for a healthy LS1.

I'm not really sure I understand your question about the crank pulley.

Good luck.

Did you use a new bolt for the crank pullie?? you are suppose to use the old bolt to put the crank pullie back and tighten it down then take out the old bolt and put the new bolt in and torque it down( remember these are strech bolts and can only be used once). if you don't do this the old bolt will back out and you can really mess up your motor. Trust me on this. i had to buy a new motor for mine when this happened to me because the previous owner did not do it right. plus go get a tune you will need it

The last post within a forum will send that thread to the top. If you just want to send your thread to the top of the list but don't really have anything more to add, throw in a post of TTT.

Why would you want to do that -- if you have nothing to add, shouldn't you just let the thread die?

If you are the originator of the thread and have not gotten many replies this is a way of getting more reads/replies.

But maybe it wasn't that interesting to begin with, which is why it probably died.

Why torture and nag people -- this thread has gotten 119 views, and a total of 12 answers (about 10%), but only two that were relevant to the question (less than 2%).

Shouldn't it die out of a lack of interest at that point?

And if someone other than the originator does the TTT, most likely they have a similar issue and are hoping for a reply.

Hmm, never thought of the Forum as a place for torture and nagging....
