Drop the diff and trans together and then remove the diff. Either install an entire assembly (best) or have a good shop install new gears. Although You will have a whine in the rear end if everything is not installed properly.

PS. maybe you can find someone who will buy your 4.10's to offset your costs and then you can then purchase a new 3.73 carrier?
