Is the LS6 slave cylinder, master cylinder and clutch kit bolt in upgrades for my stock '99 clutch ? If so, can the original flywheel still be used? Thanks in advance.
Look into the new LS7 clutch components. Not much more $ but well worth it. Installed one yesterday. PM "unstressed" and he'll fill you in on the details and performance.
I don't know why anybody would consider an LS6 clutch assembly.
The LS7 Clutch is a drop in upgrade. Use the LS2 flywheel and LS7 disc and pressure plate. Upgrade your slave to a LS6 slave and you have a clutch that feels like stock but will handle over 500 HP.
All the parts mentioned (Flywheel, Disc, Pressure plate, slave) are ~$625 shipped from Gene at Fred Beans (Supporting Vendor).
Forget the LS6 clutch. Besides, many have replaced the LS6 clutch and still had the "pedal stick to the floor" problem.

Vinny, the answer to your question is yes. They are a direct replacement. What ever you end up using be sure to get a remote slave bleeder from LAPD. I use my once a month to always keep fresh fluid in the slave cyl.
