Default Fast Lsx Intake

Gentleman,
Any feed back on the Fast LSX intake, is this a good mod? I have the normal bolt on's (P/P Heads 11to1cc, cam 228/588/114, blackwing, polished TB LS6 intake and LT headers .) Would I gain any benifets/seat of the pants feel for adding the FAST LSX intake? In addition 78mm or 90mm for the TB.

Default What timing...

just this afternoon I was reading an issue of Vette mag about bolt-on mods and I think I will add the LSX. I was about to go with the LS6 manifold until I read this article. By adding the LSX you can go alot further with the mods than with the LS6 and it reads like you have already done just that. Others may agree that you should go for it.

Please let us know. It seems like this should be a good mod.

I've got a FAST90 and LS2 TB in the mail right now to replace an LS6/Shaner setup.

Please post the info when you get it. Thanks

Default Fast Lsx Intake

I was running a very similar set up to what you are running. I removed the LS6 intake and stock TB and replaced them with a FAST 90mm intake and Nick Williams TB and gained 18 HP and 18 TQ with no other changes. The 90mm is a little harder to tune though.

with your setup I would guess you'd pick up 15 - 18 hp. the NIck Williams is the only way to go.

Default FAST Intake

JoeyG,
How did you make out with the FAST intake and T/B will I need to reprogram my computer if I decide to go with the 90mm C6 T/B. Did you notice more torque in the low RPM range (off idle to 4500 RPM)
