O.K.-the 427 is now available in crate form. But does anyone know if the intake is available yet and if so, is it the same PN as the LS6 intake (Manifold, that is)? And what TB does it use as well as the size? How about the injector size. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

The LS7 intake has hit the streets. I don't have the part number, but it's cheaper than the LS6... I want to say around $285 for the LS7 intake. The LS2 TB (~$235) will bolt right up and is the same as the LS7 I believe.

But do you think, or know, if it is the same as the LS6 or is it higher flow item? Thanks!

The LS7 intake is totally different than the LS6 intake and they can not be interchanged due to spacing and port configuration. You have to use the LS7 intake on LS7 style heads... it won't fit the earlier LS1/6 heads.

True- I forgot about the intake ports being rectangular on the LS7 and cathedral on the earlier motors-ooooppps!!
