Default Help! Rear Knock Sensor- DTC PO332

Does anyone have any experience with the DTC code PO332, Rear knock sensor?

I have a Service Manual for my 99 FRC, but haven't found a clear path to take as far as remedying this problem. It is the only code I have, and am wondering if I can dig into this and fix it without removing the intake manifold? Also what, all in all should I do?

Advice would be much appreciated!

Thx.

I had the same codes P0332 and P0337, I believe. I had to have both of my knock sensors replaced. It apparently is common for water and oil to get in there and cause corrosion. My technician said that they always put a silicone dam in there to avoid future corrosion. It took removal of the intake manifold, (2) 12589867 Sensors, (1) 12533587 Gasket Kit and (1) 12346141 Adhesive. Hope this helps.
