C5 Speed Sensor Line for GPS
Howdy - I just purchased a Pioneer AVIC-88 GPS receiver for my 03 C5 Z06. I know that the speed sensor wires are green/white and can be found on one of the instrument panel connectors (so is the green/white oil temp line). While tearing apart the center console, I noticed that the SDM (GM's "Black Box"/Air Bag sensor) connector also has a green/white wire. Is this the speed sensor line also? I've poured over my maintenance manuals and can't find a pinout of that connector to find out what it is. If that isn't the speed sensor, is there an easier place to pull off this signal from somewhere else? Anyone know if there is a way to differentiate between the speed sensor wire and the oil sensor wire? I'm pretty handy, but I don't think I'm up to removing the entire dash just to verify I have the right green/white wire.
