There is a 4l60e for sale here as some of you might have noticed sooo..
Im trying to figure out through which years this tranny was used??
I have a 97 Camaro V6 Auto with what seems to be a bad transmission and wanted to to know if I can use one off a Vette.
Would this be a direct swap??
ie off a 2000 Vette into my 97 V6 Camaro....

Nope.the c5 trannys are mounted to the rear end/trans axle at the back of the car.A torque tube connects the motor to the rear mounted tranny,not a standart type driveshaft.
