Who makes them and how much??? I just dropped my old tranny out and I'm looking at a full out race set up. Please any info on this will help me out. I'm looking to get something in the next few days. Thanks!
Ok what's the difference between the T56-025 & T56-023. I'm a little lost. I want a good road corse Tranny. Easy shifts. Lots of power in 3rd and 4th. I think that's what I need. Thanks.
I just ordered an M12 transmission from him with every option he had. Ordered it last Wednesday, he's supposed to ship it this monday, has micro polishing internals, hardened output shaft, a special RPM 1-2 shift fork, cast iron forks for the rest, carbon kevlar synchros, its supposed to be bullet proof. I paid $2400 shipped for it. His basic upgrade M12 is $1450.

that's the same price he quoted me too ..
he was real busy in that he was moving so he blew through some of the stuff real fast. That's what he said Carbon Kevlar synchros.
I used Rockland as well when I rebuilt my 3rd gear synchros. Since my car is near stock and is a lowly coupe, I elected not to do any performance mods.
I run the off-the-shelf Close-ratio trans from GM Racing ($6000) and have had no problems. It is built by Tremec with the close ratio gears already in. I now use 2nd-5th at most tracks instead of 3rd-5th.

This is good to know.
Nothing like buying a problem.
Thanks for steping in.
