Default New Sway Bar Links

Looks like I have a sway bar link coming apart. ( Rear )
I want to replace them with the aluminum links sold by Echler's.

My question is anything different about the install ?
Can I use the same bolts and nuts on the new ones ?
Torque the same ?

Thanks

I don't know what suspension or even the year vette you have (you may want to update your profile with revelant info) but you may want to consider an upgrade your end links and sway bars using Fred Beans Chevy. He ships quickly and you will have them in a few days. Look at his post titled October specials. I think its arround $250 with Z06 sway bars, bushings and aluminum end links. If not he probably has just the end links at a better price than Ecklers.

Order the end links from Ken Fichtner or Fred Beans - both supporting vendors here with good service, and I'll bet better prices than Eckler's.

Default Try This Installation Guide

Just did the front and rear links after replacing sway bars. I took the front wheels off, one at a time. It made torquing the bolts easier. You need the proper hex socket to get the old ones off but the new links have a flat spot for an open end wrench just in front of the rubber cover. Just put the 18mm wrench there and use the torque wrench with a socket to bolt them tight. I tightened the upper bolt on the link before I put the bars in. Made the job real easy. Good luck.
