Okay, well what are I my options with a low price in mind? I have looked at them and can honestly say they are ALL over-priced, I guess the manufacturers figure they can charge the hell out of them just because they consider a Vette a higher end sports car. I had an awesome complete set-up on my Cobra for under a grand......

I got my Corsa Indy Pace Car exhaust off the forum about a month ago for $600 used. It was like brand new just a lot cheaper. Look around I see Borla's for around that price quite frequently. Good luck!

This is 00-04. I am not sure why it would not fit an earlier model though? But the seller probably can steer you in the right direction.

You are right a Z06 take off is an excellent cat back especially for the money. You can usually find several in the parts for sale in the 400's.

But I think the thread starter wants something a little louder.

you may be right then just spend $200 bucks and get some electric cut outs So for about 600 bones you can have a nice quite exhaust or a "pull me over now exhaust"
