Default Fast RPM REVING ISSUES

Guys i have a vette practically stock and when i nail the gas all the way whether its in gear or just in park it misses like 2 or three times as its reving up its more like a stall. Thought it was the coils changed them also changed the wires and injectors. I still have the proble my dad tells me its the timing that is is retarded. Guess i need to advance a little and see if it helps any idea how i can advance it. these cars dont have a rotary distributor so its not as easy as turning the distributor. Thanks for the help. By the way i have the non performace rear end so it takes off slow to begin with, therefore i really need the engine to put out everything its got.

You will need to run traces with scanning software via a laptop computer to find out what is happening. If something mechanical is not broken... a computer tune should fix your problems.

Default no codes

no codes just the probelm i described. I took care of the air leak it was in the pcv vacum area near the back of the engine where it has somecheap rubber "T" to split the vacumm fixed it with a plastic "T" and some vacum hose. much better idle now put still stall when i rev it fast. Who programs these computer? and how much is it? this sounds like a good solution.

thanks,
ralph
