are these worth it for my y2k coupe, dont want to put anything too expensive in because i plan on selling it stock for a z06 in the spring.

I bought one of these, from eBay about a year ago, It was painted candy red, in the pictures and looked real nice. When I received it, the quality of the paint and the weld was so poor I wouldn't put it on a beater let alone on my Vette. I took pics of the poor paint job and weld and emailed them back to the seller, he agreed to give me my money back.

basically im just worried about the air filters letting in dirt or screwing with my engine, if i shouldnt be worried about it, then id get it.
do i have to take out my original sensors?

Not to jack your thread, but I have an intake that has the 2 K&N style filters on it. I switched to the vararam so it is just sitting. It looks like the one from the Mid America Direct Catalog. It is black plastic. It came with my car when I bought it.
You live in chicago and could easily take a look at it (I am in
Brookfield). I would sell it for $50.00. I liked it but I got a great deal on a used Vararam.
Just a thought.
