Default Master Cylinder Drill Mod ? Need Help

I am replacing my slave and master and installing a spec 3. Do I need to do the drill mod ? On the f-body they drill the end going into the master. The restriction on the Vette is where it couples to the slave. Is that were you do the drill mod on the master end ?
Thanks, Jim

There are three restrictors on the Vette hydraulic clutch. One at the output of the master, one in the center of the hard "L" between the master and the slave, and one at the input of the slave. Pain in the butt.

Not if you can live with a slipping clutch, mind did.
New clutch & etc, drilled the line and no more slippage.

Yep, that's where the hard to get to one is located.

was afraid so. I'm surprised nobody makes an aftermarket clutch line for us. Well actually someone does.

i'm lookin into getting one of these. i called them ..verified that it comes with no restrictions in the lines. looks like it doesn't even have the hard L in there.

That is an F-body slave and master set up. I loved my Cartek clutch when I had it in my TA and I will be getting one for my Z. When I got the adjustable master they said it had the drill mod done to it. Well they lied. None the less it was a great clutch for the street and strip. It acted like stock on the street but I could do 6,000+ clutch dumps all day long on it at the track.
