I use a 1/4 inch drive screwdriver like extension with a deep socket and tighten them this way so as not to overtighten them. Remember they have an O-ring that does the sealing and you don't want to distort it too much.GUSTO

This is from the C5 2004 Gm service manual. "Torque tire sensors to..
7n-m which = 62 lb.in = 5.16 lb.ft."
PS: Use a 12mm deep socket to torque the tire pressure sensor...
I guess the wrist just clicks when it is right.
