Thanks in advance. I found a Micro Relay that is buzzing every now and then. The car no longer even tries to start. The relay is number 37 under the pass footwel. It is called "monitored LD". Buzzes off and on. The number 42 relay - CTSY LP - appears to be buzzing as well. I have the driver's side door panel off right now checking for any connections going through the door. Here is some info from another thread.
This is starting to pizz me off. Where are the major grounds on the car located? I know about the one on the block.
Edit: I think the relays were buzzing because I didn't have the door switches connected on the driver's side. I reconnected those and that went away. However, there is no power whatsoever going to the gauges when I hook the battery back up. The "security" light faintly comes on while flickering a little and I hear a very faint buzzing sound coming from the pedal area or above. It almost sounds like a hard drive writing. It is very faint and I cannot isolate it.

I am having a complete power loss due to something around the pedal area. No ideas? Nothing works when I hook the battery up. There is a dead short in this area.
Haven't tried a new battery yet. The battery is fairly new, about 4-6 months old. Do you think it can relly be the bat? I did get it from Wally World. I guess I could give it a try with cables hooked up to another car but I don't see why it would make the window switches on one side not work while the car is running. Can't be the battery.
Mine just ate a battery in 6 months. Went with the Optima Red top this time. Fixed all the crazy messages and symtoms I was getting. The closest ground pack to where your sympoms are is located at the bottom front of the doorway under the trim. There are also packs located on top of the frame on each side next to the radiator. There is another ground pack at the front of the passenger door. And two more on the side of the vehicle behind the trim piece bhind the seats that covers the take-up reels for the seat belts.
Good luck with your problem. I'd personally try the $100 Optima before I paid for a tow and the blood money to the Stealership.
I'll go get an Optima, I was planning on buying a yellow top anyway for the stereo install. I guess there could be a dead short in the battery. This is really pizzing me off now.
