Who sells Redline 75w90?
If you feel like a southbound cruise on I-35 instead of mail order, I just bought some Red Line 75W90 about a week ago at:
Austin Performance
10716-A North Lamar Blvd.
Austin, TX 78753
(512) 832-5566
email: sales@austinpeformance.com
Check with them first, because I had to wait on a shipment so they were restocked. They also carry D4 ATF, if you're interested.

I need Redline...per DTE warranty. Sad thing is no one locally carrys it.
On a happier note, I have found RoyalPurple, Mobil-1, Lucas, and AmsOil all locally......just not Redline.
Let us know what you need and we can take care of you.
We only use Redline oil in our Race Car also.
thanks

While the Magnuson-Moss Act does not require manufacturers to provide a written warranty, it provides specific rules when one is provided. Among those provisions, FTC regulations state: (c) No warrantor of a consumer product may condition his written or implied warranty of such product on the consumers using, in connection with such product, any article or service (other than article or service provided without charge under the terms of the warranty) which is identified by brand, trade, or corporate name; except that the prohibition of this subsection may be waived by the Commission if (1) the warrantor satisfies the Commission that the warranted product will function properly only if the article or service so identified is used in connection with the warranted product, and (2) the Commission finds that such a waiver is in the public interest. (15 U.S.C.2302(C))
You can read more about the Act here:

Since I doubt DTE is supplying anyone with Redline for free, or that they have a waiver on file with the FTC, your warranty can't be legally denied for using another gear lube.

Here we go again and once again~ wrong....as we've already covered this this to infinion here before........ The above text/act refers to laws against companies using additionally required "tie-in" sales of *THIER* products to support another one of *THIER* products from the same company the product came from in the first place, *NOT* product use requirements to support another certain item, which in this case is our HP differentials.
We WOULD be in violation of that act IF we stated that the end user *HAD* to use special "DTE Lube" for our differentials that was *ONLY* sold or available from DTE and no one else anywhere. Therefore, we agree, that would be a violation....
However, we are *NOT* doing that!!
For one~ we are only requiring that our differentials be filled with the very product we've thoroughly tested that we *KNOW* works with our products to support long-term reliability and performance. That product is Redline 75w/140 differential lubricant THAT IS AVAILABLE ANYWHERE IN THE AFTERMARKET OTHER THAN DTE AND IS MANUFACTURED BY ANOTHER COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COMPANY.....! That is *NOT* a "tie-in sales tactic......

Secondly, there is *NO* law that states that a warranty coverage text cannot have specific terms relating to proper lubricant requirements for a given product and that is all that we're stating or we have ever have stated. What we're doing now regarding differential lubricant requirement are no different than what we've been doing for the last 3 1/2 years to everyone's satisfaction and we take offense to the implication that DTE is "violating" or "screwing" anyone.....
You know us better than that and our positive reputation we've worked so hard to earn is a testiment to that dedication!
