Cartek lied to me !
They told me my new set up would probably run 9.50's at 145 in the 1/4 , and instead it ran 9.44 at 148.79 , and we're not done yet . I am still amazed this car is running this fast with stock Z-06 exhaust manifolds on it ! Details below .
Well , It was another great day at the track , set another new best ET and MPH .
60FT 1.534
1/8 Mile 6.155 at 118.68
1/4 9.446 at 148.79
The car was making between 13-14lbs of boost throughout all my runs today and I was hitting the rev limiter just before the end of the 1/4 on most of my runs (time for a taller tire or less gear) . I was extremely happy with the car today , and had a blast hanging out with all the other guys and their fast cars . I once again drove it to and from the track in my street trim with just an air pressure change to the drag radials , I just got in from the track , stopped at the mall and went to watch my high school alma mater in the NJ State football playoofs on the way home .
Another huge thanks to Cartek and Rodney at RPM Transmissions( I will make a seperate post regarding this) , my trans went bad in the beginning of the week , and these guys pulled through for me big time .
Cartek has helped me take this car from a stock motor with bolt-ons running high 12's in the 1/4 , to what it is today , a fast , reliable , 9-second street car , that I can drive anywhere .

Absolutely amazing speed and ET, from a relatively simple turbo system.
BTW, I think Dave needs to give Alex a new job....he not only can drive, but also shoot...video, that is.

Mike, that's the kind of lies that are OK. Man that sounds like an incredible set up. Are you coming down to SC in Feb? I'd love to see it run.
