we disconnected the steering shaft...took out the alternator...lifted the engine as high as we could...but the headers wont' go into place?? are we missing something???
did you try taking off the valve cover? it's not much , but every bit helps. dont forget the ground strap.. the coolant sensor on the head and oil filter should come off along with the clutch inspection shield... it will make it in.. just wiggle it around...they go in from the top good luck

Try taking a 2X4 and move the engine to the side then slide the header in
Did you remove the MOTOR MOUNT BOLT on the side you are jacking AND loosen the other side? If you did this, they will go in. I thought the headers you got were AIR delete, how are you using them?
I took the oil filter off and used the opening it makes the turn just a little and they fall right in. I used a wedge shaped block this moves the motor to the pass side of the car. I went and put under the car where the bell housing and frame are close this moved the motor over about a inch. good luck!
Hey, Im from surrey bc too. I replied in your other post. Let me know if you want to sell your cat pipe ( stock one ) or need a hand figuring out how to remove your air system.
I wiggled and twisted for a long time before I realized it just takes a little muscle. Both of mine fell right in (after about 10 hours of trying to be delicate) after I just pushed hard.
