Oil Life?
I just noticed that my oil life is at 82%
last time i checked (about 2 weeks ago) it was at 47%...
car has never died nor has anything else changed.
what can cause this? I change my oil every 4k and its about half way thus far.

I have a Y2K coupe and if you don't reset the OLM properly it will read 82%. I have no clue why, but it just does.
The answer is to turn the key on - engine off. Go to the oil life % screen, then press and hold the "Reset" button until it goes blank.
It will then read 100%.
There, you're done.

I read somewhere that the Oil Life indicator can also be reset by putting the key into the ON position without starting the engine, and mashing the accelerator pedal a couple/three times.
Is someone else has a key, maybe that happened?
